Posterior Splint for Dogs
Hind splint for dogs and cats indicated for fractures, injuries, neurological problems and limb deformities. Made of polypropylene and coated with neoprene.
The rear splint for dogs is indicated for neurological, traumatological or other problems that require a rigid support to immobilise the affected area. The prosthesis immobilises the area below the tarsus and foot of the animal.
It is made of polypropylene in anatomical format for the best adaptation to the foot of your dog and coated in textile neoprene to improve comfort. Its lateral adjustment system means that the splint does not become loose or tight, a very common problem in rigid splints.
Posterior orthopaedic splints
Thermoformable polypropylene splints. Adjustable width, covered with neoprene. Extends completely under the foot.
For hind limbs choose the size that best fits the following table:
Sizes XL M XXS
Weight kg 37-52 28-36 21-27 11-20 5-11 1-4
Measurement (cm) 28,5 24 20,3 17,8 16,5 10,2
To determine the measurement, use a flexible tape measure, and pass it under the foot of the animal. Measure the distance from the tip of the longest toe to the area above the tarsus (animal in station). The splint should not exceed knee height. The weight of the animal is approximate.
Size XXS is used for very small dogs and cats.
